Bahiyya (51) is married and she and her husband have 4 children. She has no education. Until Bahiyya’s employment at the Pure Felt Jordan project, Bahiyya and her family had to live of her husband’s small social welfare contribution only.
What difference/opportunity does Pure Felt Jordan offer you? This opportunity opened the doors for me to improve my living standards, to be able to spend on my home and my children. This means a lot to be, working at Pure Felt Jordan/Princess Taghrid Institute to give my whole family stability and ability to grow financially.
My hobbies: To do house choirs.
My favorite thing about Jordan and Fifa: I love in Jordan the safety and security, and our King Abdulla the 2nd. And in Fifa I love the kind hearts of its people.
What is your favorite childhood memory: One of my favorite childhood memories is sitting with the elderly and listening to their fictional and nonfictional stories. Additionally, sitting with the family in front of the fire and drinking tea and going to the farming land at dawn to start working and playing with other children at their parents` farm. And playing with the other kids local games such as Fatta and Hajleh.
To me love means: Love in my opinion is my family, love is my mom and dad and their memories. Love is the love of religion and love is the love of the hometown and the cleanliness of our souls, our minds and our hearts. Love is kindness, brotherhood and sharing and love is respecting the other.
My dream for the future: My dream is to educate my children. My dream is to finish building my house and its needs and to live comfortably.
Message to the Pure Felt Jordan supporters: “I want to thank everyone that had part in giving me this opportunity to work in this project. Inshalla I will be at your expectations and to be able to gain many needed expertise.”
