Asma’a (43) is married and she and her husband have 7 children. She left school after grade 2 (primary school). Until Asma’a’s employment at the Pure Felt Jordan project, Asma’a and her family had to live of a total monthly income of JOD 250 (EUR 315) only.
What difference/opportunity does Pure Felt Jordan offer you? This opportunity allowed me to benefit from the craft of wool and to learn how to prepare wool, card, spin and dye it and use these skills to be productive and generate income.
What I love about Jordan and Fifa: I love the nature of Jordan and discovering the new ruins and heritage that we have here from thousands of years ago.
What is your favorite childhood memory: My dream of becoming successful in the future.
To me love means: It is a family connection between the community and family members and from there it includes respect, love and exchange of opinions.
My dream for the future: My dream is to be productive and better in my work and work seriously and with compassion to improve the social and economic situation of myself and my family and make the whole community benefit from this project.
